For the past 18 years, Tim Schwartz and Ian White Williams have
maintained a rich dialog through their artwork. Though at times working
in entirely different mediums and from opposite sides of the country
this dialogue persisted.
At the heart of their common philosophies is the central idea of openness. Each interprets the complexity of this concept through individual sets of lenses, be it labyrinths, Buddhism, NASCAR, or drunken boxing.
Through these sometimes disparate expressions, the paintings presented in this show maintain a common resonance.
